Ok so I have a xbox 360 and im trying to use my hdmi cable on a different tv. It works fine on my tv in my room, but when I try it on my other tv it doesnt have any sound. The picture shows in hd but no sound. It works with regular av cables though.

Ive tried to different sets of hdmi cables and they both have hd picture with no sound when on my other tv, but they work perfectly on my original tv.

Is the issue my other tv or my xbox? This really bugs me, any working solutions will be highly appreciated.

I had this problem with one of my TV's. I had to get an HDMI to DVI connector. Even though the DVI doesn't take sound from HDMI it still displayed audio.

If your xbox works with different cords/tvs its most likely a problem with the tv, try hooking different stuff up to the tv to see if the sound is broken.
