So let me start off by saying
I'm new to this whole modding thing, and I know it's not hard at all
And I'm not sure what I'm doing, I've talked to people
And it seems that know one can help me, and I have no Idea what
I'm doing wrong, so I came here and ask this community
Because I know people here should know.


Anyways, these are ALL the steps I've tried,
And please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

1. Bought a USB device
2. Plugged in in the computer (laptop)
3. Found a buttons_default mod. (Tried a bunch (about 8 different) etc. creations, joker modz)
4. Extracted it to desktop
5. Used notepad++ to edit it ( not sure if I'm doing the right name)
But I do know that it's usually the creators name, and I replace all with my name.
7. Save it and put it in my USB
8. Unplug it and put it in my ps3 (slim) (the right side)
9. I even restarted my ps3 after & before I put it in the slot.
10. Then finally go online and get infected by people can infect
(Also tried tons of different people)
11. Then backed out
12. Went to split screen
13. Turn unlock on
14. Waiting for countdown to end and push these different button combos
(Select - up / square - select / left - down - right - up) then get mad and rage all buttons.

Like I've said, I've tried this PLENTY of times and I have no clue what I'm doing wrong,


If I go to my game>game utilities>mw2>information it's 1.12
But if I go mw2 under games and ten click triangle it's says 1.14


ALSO I don't know if this is a issue or not but I don't have the actual disk, I bought it from the store,
so I don't know if maybe that could be the problem.

PLEASE someone help me who this, I know I Sound desperate
But it's just super frustrated seeing people doing with ease
And I'm over here like ;/

So please help this rookie modder
