If you're going to host a car meet, please don't do any of the following.

1) Get power-hungry kids to do security for you. All that happens is that they end up running the game for you, doing anything they want and getting away with it because they can scream 'I'm security!!' louder than anyone else in the game

2) Quit the session if one person is annoying you, there's a kick option in the Online pause menu, use this to get rid of anyone that's being an idiot.

3) Let people turn up to your meet in fully modified, neon green Bifta's/Mesa's/Sandking's if it's a sport meet.

Even so, it still depends on the people whom join.

These are obvious, Although I am not hating on what you said, If the lobby is out of hand then, post on the topic saying bad lobby and the reason why. To prevent others from falling victim to a bad car meet.

Yeah, I completely agree with you but, it's how the host deals with it that ultimately decides if the meet is ruined. Sometimes there are a couple of people, so I understand you cant just kick them and carry on, but they could simply make a new session and invite the legit players rather than just disbanding the meet altogether.

Power hungry security....

Why do you need security at a car meet if everybody honors it and why intimidate people with a couple of gun wielding 12 yr olds.

Kicking people....

And how many people need to select "Kick" before the guy/guys ruining the meet are actually kicked?

Also I found that Vossen and his buddies ruined most of my meets (which is why I stopped doing them) by blowing up cars and turning up in tractors etc so it would be nice to join a meet where everybody just gets along and has fun showing off their cars and doing races and having fun but that seems to be not possible in a few cases.

Correct car class.....

This again is made clear in a lot of meets but the immature people ignore this and just want to destroy other peoples meets etc which is sad.

That's the point I was trying to make, not only is security unnecessary, but if people are going to use security, they could atleast choose people who aren't likely to abuse the fact they are allowed out of passive mode.

I'm sorry if you guys feel this thread was a waste of time, didn't mean anybody to take it this way...

Not at all you have brought up some good concerns that effect most Meet hosters. We can all understand where you are coming from but at the end of the day there will always be that guy that tries to ruin everything , and the only way to stop this from happening is to make it public who the known trolls are who enjoy ruining people's fun and then they simply will not be allowed in anybodies meets. But then again what is stopping other people inviting them in?

If R* star made it so we can have "Complete" control over our lobbies then I think that would be awesome, that way we could go about our meets without hassle. By complete control I mean be able to remove one person or w/e with only the hoster or an assigned lobby moderator making the decision without having to wait for the consensus of the lobby to agree/disagree.

Most people don't know but if it's car meet they basically mean all cars no matter what i do car meets with my friends and when i invite people who kill people i kick them, like that one guy said it depends on who you end up joining, Because it all depends if they run a good lobby. If they don't post on that topic.

I'd say it's the complete opposite, when people say car meet, they are normally assuming that people wont try to bring off-roaders, millitary vehicles or super cars, as they just aren't realistic.

Some people take their car meets seriously which I can respect I mean most are Vehicle type specific and some are just bring whatever.

But I never see "Car Meet happening bring muscle only and feel free to ruin the fun for everybody oh and if you wanna bring a tractor well hey awesome oh and we have four 13 yr old power hungry mentally unstable security officers just to make sure you have a horrible time"
