Cheaper isn't necessarily better. I feel as though the extra software and faster sequential read speeds make up for the 25$ premium. I suppose it doesn't matter to much.

Swings and roundabouts really, would you ever use the software that comes with it? Also the Samsung does have a theoretically better read speed but it also had a worse write speed so it doesn't matter.

Seeing as I have one of the first ever gen's of SSD with a 120MB/s write speed that works well i wouldn't pay no mind to advertised speeds.
