Just made an avatar but it won't let me upload it because the
file is too big. Any help?

When saving the image for web save it as a jpeg (as long as it isnt a .gif) then lower the overall quality to around 80. If that doesnt work, lower it more.

If the file size is too big your going to have to lower it which will sadly reduce the quality. Luckily with a JPEG you tend to be able to choose the file size and quality is kept at a decent level
