You mean z97 lol. You need to have the z97 chipset if you intend to upgrade in the future to the i7-5xxx, i5-5xxx, etc.

Yes I changed it, I meant to put that. My bad, although if he is going with an i5 4670k, he wont need to upgrade his CPU for A LONG TIME. But yes z97 is a better choice!

I myself havent, but it looks good and supports the latest architecture, so it is trustworthy.

Of course I have, if you read my motto, that is my motherboard, and it is very very well built. Not many motherboards can get the i7-4770k to 4.7ghz and still be stable. I was able to do this on mine (though I don't actually keep it at 4.7ghz, that's overkill and completely unnecessary, I keep mine at 4.5ghz) The board is physically durable with 10k coated capacitors. If your able to do that in your budget range then yes, that is a significantly faster processor than the i5.
