Gameplay
This game is a wonderful racing experience for anyone that loves Sonic games. They have a head to head racing storyline all to their own with the Sonic characters. They use the Kinect as a controller platform, and I must say that if you have enough room for the Kinect to work properly that it is an enjoyable experience. The game is quite fun with varying maps and many different characters to choose from and play with. There are also the classic rings within the game that you can use to buy more boards, maps, clothing, etc

Plot
The plot behind this game is that of quite a mystery. Eggman holds another World Grand Prix and has four teams complete, unlike the usual two teams of most other rider games. Eggman masks himself as a king and uses the promise of cash and treasure to lure the teams into the race to use the players data to program his new E-10K robots. Later, his master plan is revealed and the players figure out that Metal Sonic was behind it all along. Even over Eggman, the Metal Sonic challenges Sonic to a final race to determine their fate, in which Metal Sonic loses and he is forced to leave forever, saving Sonic and all his friends. Lastly, Sonic and the team actually end up thanking Eggman for hosting such a fun racing experience and the only two people that aren't happy are Shadow and Rouge (because they didn't win their money.)

Story
The story within this game is that of most other rider games, except that the Sonic characters that we all know and love are in a race competing against each other. The game makes for an enjoyable experience and has you sweating after each race considering that they built the game on the Kincet layout. It is quite a different but yet enjoyable experience to say the least. A must play for most anyone!

Graphics
The graphics are true to the Sonic experience. They stay true to the characters color schemes and keep the maps of the race venues realistic to certain points. They also use realistic boards and rings. The graphics aren't perfect, and aren't as great as they could have been, but they are also not bad either. No real complaints within the graphic portion of this game.

Controls
The controls of this game are built upon the Kinect system. So, basically, you get to be the controller and the Kinect does this game and your body some good considering that you have to work to win each race. But, the problem with this Kinect game and many others is that if you don't have enough room for the Kinect to work properly, you won't have as good of a gaming experience as you would have if you did have enough room.

Multiplayer
There are two modes of multiplayer within this game. There is local head to head and online head to head. The online experience is the part of this game in my own opinion, being able to face other human beings rather than AI is much more satisfying and enjoyable. However, if you don't have access to the online portion or just don't want to play it, you will still love this game as the game's online is basically the same as the storyline, except for the fact of AI.

Ratings
Gameplay - 8.5/10
Plot - 8/10
Story - 7.5/10
Controls - 7.5/10
Multiplayer - 8.5/10
Graphics - 8/10
Overall - 8/10

Personal Note: This game is a great gaming/racing experience and especially if you have some close friends to go up against in a head to head battle or even over the internet facing random opponents from around the world. This game stays true to the Sonic storyline and series alike and is well worth a play if you enjoy Kinect games and or Sonic!
