You can use this alternate point
use the blue wire from the slim pack and cut it down to fit from the coolrunner to the alternate point

all he has done is im pretty sure burnt the pad off which means he can just use the alternate point underneath the board

Maybe but he says the copper come off so probably has ribbed the trace off

so i followed this tut [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and soldered the resistor and everything on, plugged it in pressed the power button i hear the ding and that is it, no green light on the rol. what is the problem, please help i spent a lot of money on this and am confused as to what the problem is!

did you use a 33OHm resistor
