List the steps you've taken, I can tell you where you went wrong.

Simple band flash? What do you mean? Did the XeBuildGUI give you an error?
Here's the steps you should take.
1. Dump your NAND using Simple NAND flasher 360
2. Download 16756 XeBuildGUI
3.Load your dumped NAND into XeBuild
4. Enter your CPU key (Double check, although it won't let you build the image if the key is incorrect i think.
5. Build the image if ALL information is correct, most should automatically be selected and correct.
6. Build your new image on the new dashboard.
7. Flash the NAND you just updated (updflash.dmp) i think that's what its called using the tool you used to dump your NAND.

Make sure when you're dumping your NAND, you only need the small 16MB NAND dump. From the sounds of it, you could be trying to use a bigger than 16MB NAND dumped off flash 360 tool and building it with a different size.
Ex
You dumb the 64MB NAND on the tool
You create the image as if it was a 16MB NAND

I'm not able to skype right now, because I'm just getting ready to go to bed. Got classes tomorrow. Anyways, Post pictures of the error and the options that were pre-selected and I'm sure someone will be able to help you.
