I like it but the orange and purple don't go together in my opinion. Orange and blue maybe? Also the thunder kinda ruins the simplicity of it.

First off,
remove all the effects.
Make the background circle one colour, the main part of the logo on colour.
Then if i was you, i would post this as just a plain image and get a different opinion.
Plain logo's look alot better, the effects ruin it.
It's a simple logo but with some editing it could be something.

The effects were not needed at all, without the lightning the logo would look 110% better.
