I noticed there wasn't a forum for just platforms i don't think? So anyway, I was thinking about getting a cheap 300 pound gaming PC, due to wanting to play DayZ and Minecraft and modded Skyrim, however it's all expensive and too advanced stuff for me. Also i fear i won't play any other games on it at all. On the other hand, i play a lot of competitive CoD on the 360, and was wondering if i'd benefit more from a Scuf controller and Astro headset instead? They seem to be able to improve my gameplay a lot so they're tempting to get. Also i have a fairly decent laptop so the 300 would just be used to play a few games only. Let me know what you think and why i should! Thanks<3

I mean you could build a $300 Gaming PC that is upgradeable in the future now if you play competetive COD that all really depend on how good you are and is really up to you but if you wanna play all of those games i suggest getting a decent gaming PC.

Stick with console. You seem like the kinda person that doesn't understand all that much about PC's in general and if you're willing to buy Astros and Scufs that's like $400 just for two items.

Yeah you are correct.
Higher resolutions
Faster FPS
Upgradable Hardware
Easier Modding Capabilities to actually improve the games.
And you can use controller like Consoles....

I see your point

I have a gaming computer and am a console/pc gamer. I 100% prefer a console over a computer. You are not missing out on anything. I would just either buy a ps4/xb1 or buy some games for those consoles.

IMO it all depends on where you have your friends, I want to game at PC since I have a gaming computer but none of my friends has a PC and games. So i usually play Xbox360 with my friends.

PC gaming is more fun for me than my Xbox 360. Idk I just enjoy it more on PC because more open options and all that.

While PC does allow for a more customizable gaming experience, you can dig yourself into a pretty sizable financial hole if you buy a gaming PC. The problem is that even though you can get the system on the cheap, in a few years, every single part will be nearly obsolete. You can go super-super high-end right now and you will still be able to play most games in 5 years in much lower fidelity than you do now, but still, consoles are a much more standard experience, with great social features.

On the Astro and Scuf debate, Astro headsets are brilliant and even though they carry a high price tag, you get what you pay for. Not only can you use them for gaming but they provide exceptional listening experiences for music and movies. The Scuf controller, however, is a bit of a toss up. If you get it, you may improve...slightly. But realize that if you do get it, you will most likely HAVE to own a Scuf controller for the rest of your gaming career. You won't be able to play the same without it. If you don't mind that kind of crutch, go for it dude! Anything to get a leg up on those host-booting buttholes on GB!
