If I purchase a RGH from America would the disc drive work in the UK and if I brought a UK power cable for it would it fit???

disk drive would work and i think you need just to change the power plug that goes from the xbox to wall socket

I believe you would have to change the region as well, as the disk drive is USNC not PAL. And you would need the 220V Power Cable for the UK wall socket. Changing the region is extremely simple and can be done during build. So Yes, You can order an RGH from the US.
