this is what I could do with 400 pounds, with an extra 50-100 pounds m9re I could've made it alot better but I wanted to stick to the given budget.
it should play dayz at low to mid at decent fps. If your budget changes just ask and ill make a new build.

This build should be able to push dayz out in about 60+ fps on high.
the 280 is amazing and if you decide to update in the future you can crossfire another 280 and thatll smash alot of the higher end cards such has 770 780 and 290.
The cpu is a i5 4440 which is good for the money and beats the fx6300 that I was going to go with in the older build. To upgrade this just change it out for a i5 4590.
theres 2 x 4gigs of ram which are perfect for gaming, if you want to start rendering editing etc than get 2x 8 gig sticks or ram which will do fine.
I picked one of the best matx cases so no need to upgrade there
the mobo could be update to a z97 chipset board which will allow overclocking but if you do that youll need a intel k series cpu and I would also recommend a aftermarket cooler
the psu has more than enough power but can be upgraded for a quiter and more efficient one.
the hdd is 1tb and will be fine for gaming but you could invest into a ssd for quicker boot times for games.
Thats really all you need to know .
