higher gpu yes but lower end cpu, memory less storage space, case and psu

I'd think you would of atleast went for a 500 w psu your leaving less than 60 watts free for upgrades etc..

But I guess a slight gpu bump is worth skimping on them parts isnt it?

I'd think you would of atleast went for a 500 w psu your leaving less than 60 watts free for upgrades etc..

But I guess a slight gpu bump is worth skimping on them parts isnt it?

If OP gets money for upgrades, he could also upgrade PSU for a small cost, or he could go slightly over budget for a larger GPU. Um, what? Check again. FX-6300 performs better than the 4130, as well as the fact that it's great value for money atm. A better GPU instead of the i3 which is marginally better in some circumstances, as well as the fact it's a build within OP's budget.

It depends on the games. Most people would go with the FX-6300 over the i3-4130, unless they wanted a better upgrade path(i5/i7). I'd go with the FX-6300 over the i3-4130 unless I had a planned upgrade within the next year or so. OP's budget is 400GBP, that might be a tight budget and all that OP has to spend. I know when I have a budget, it's extremely tight and I can only manage to go a few pounds over budget, if even that much.

Please tell me what amd cpu will beat i7 4930k. I was talking about me personally I always upgrade a budget build within months.
