I was playing with my friend today and he invited me to his garage he had around $1,500,000 in cars and he didn't have any cars the day before when I played with him. I asked him how he got all of th money and he said he was playing in a public match and someone randomly gave him all the money. Is he messing with me or is this a real thing?

Inless he met a rare GTA player who can mod/hack the game them im 100% sure he is messing with you.

I'd be on the safe side and not ask for some, as you may get banned, but he may also get banned for using the $$$ (unless he bought it xD, then this whole discussion is a waste of time)
