Do you think i could get insured on it? i have done some quotes but all seem to not be good deals. Although being cheap. (They seem dodgy companies with lacking reviews)
The most reasonable offer i got was 3,500 p/a.
What im really asking is for an opinion to then influence my own, would it be worth it? Or should i get a lower insurance car, then possibly get something a little more "flash" when im older...
As for the car it's self... I can easily afford a 06 Model with good mileage!
Also, Does visual modifications such as wrapping and ghosting affect your insurance?
Cheers in advance guys.

I would get a cheaper car and once you get older and experienced. I would then get a faster/better car.

Visual modifications do add on to the cost of insurance, however I believe that vehicle wrapping doesn't.
Just as stated above I would get a cheaper car to gain experience and also a no claims bonus so when you are older you could get a better car with cheaper insurance.

It depends on how you see yourself five years from now or whenever you decide to get another car. If you have the money now and the money later for when the car needs repairs, then you could lean more towards getting a good car now. It also depends on what car would be your backup if you don't get a good car but you get a cheaper car. If you're going to get a crap car to save money, then it may not be worth it.
I think it's better to go with the car that you like now not because of the money factor, but because of the enjoyment factor. You'll spend more money on a better car but actually take care of your car if you love it as well. You'll be cautious when driving, you'll be cautious when parking, and vice versa.
If you're afraid about car insurance though, then I wouldn't say that getting a better car is favorable either. People that have the money to buy better cars have car insurance in the back of their head. That's because it's not a concern to them. If you're concerned that you'll get tickets and wreck your car, then go with a worse car for experience.
