Basically i took my controller to a friends house and the controller synced perfectly, so when i got home i tried to sync my controller to my xbox only to notice that my xbox 360 slim sync button isnt working. I'm think it's jammed. I'm not wanting to take apart my xbox. If i bought a play and charge kit would this sync my controller directly to my xbox? Thanks for your patience.

Buy a wire that can connect it.

A play and charge kit will re-sync the controller to your xbox.
