Id scrap it and start over. Theres no way this piece can be saved, theres no point wasting time and adding more to it, it will make it worse. Start a new piece with a different mindset and idea.

At first I thought that was the "one" ring, but soon realized it was not.
I would try to improve the text as it doesn't seem to fit.

The 3D text doesn't blend very well, and the smoke doesn't seem to work well with this piece either.

As hard of a decision as it may be, I would go with what planky said and just scrap it and move on to either something completely new, or fix the text and smoke on this piece in your new attempt.
