Is the copying other peoples emblems patched or not? if its not whats the new way to do it? +rep to anyone who can help

i found out a way to do it but i am struggling to get it done correct
step 1) check if person who you are getting emblem off has at least 1 screenshot
Step 2) hover over a emblem you want to copy
Step 3) press these buttons as fast as possible (x+b up,x,x,down,x)
Step 4) it should come up with a screen like you are saving a screenshot but it will say emblems at the top
Step 5) if it doesn't work the first time go back and select player channel again and repeat the steps
