What kind of plans for the future do you have? Such as career wise. I haven't been to California, but I have friends from there and they say people aren't that nice, and then you gotta factor in earth quakes, expense (As all states have their expense) but California is up there due to the fact that's where all the actors and actresses reside. Miami, I have only been to during Spring Break (amazing party city), not sure how it is on a daily budget/ basis. I suggest researching all that places you would like to live and factoring in everything.

I want to be a DJ in California
And be a tattooist in Miami !
