i just got a new pc build arriving tomorrow and i didn't buy a hard drive because i already have one.

the motherboard i am getting is sata 2
i have a 80gb sata 2 drive but also have a sata 1 500gb drive
i would like to use the 500gb but would it work as the main harddrive to install an operating system on.?

Any SATA drive will work fine
