You might have too many sources installed. Try removing a few

Have you tried re-adding the source? How's your internet connection?

You have too many packages in Cydia.
Usually this is caused by having too many pirated repos because they upload a copy of almost all paid tweaks.
I'm not accusing you of pirating, you may have too many non-pirated repos too, but the first one is usually the case.
Try removing one or two repos and refresh and it should load the packages.
The reason this happens is because cydia can only hold 65,000 or so packages.

What source did you install before this started happening? If you know then delete that source. Always happens to me when I instal repo.insanelyi.

The most current version of Cydia fixed this... try updating Cydia or the essentials if there is an update for them.

You probably have to many sources in Cydia. This happened to me before. Cydia wouldn't work right when I opened it and freezes my phone and I have to restart. What I did was go into iFile and go into the Cydia Sources file and remove them all. Then restarted and it worked.
