These people honestly don't know what they are saying, obviously Windows 8.1 is better then Windows 7. It is faster then Windows 7 everyone just assumes that Windows 7 is better then Windows 8 when they don't have a clue what they are talking about. There is also going to be a big windows 8.1 update whih makes it two times easier to use.

To be honest i have windows 8 on my laptop and windows 7 on my computer.I would recommend that you get windows 8 as i think it's better.The only real reason that everyone says that windows 7 is better than windows 8 is because the find windows 8 easier to use,its true that windows 7 is easier to use but once you get the hang of windows 8 it honestly feels 10 times better.It might be harder to find what you're looking for but in the end up its alot better.Believe me

This can always be retorted with the fact that some games are not really "Working" with windows 7 and its not as "easy" to use as windows 7. However I use Windows 8.1 in my beast and honestly its amazing. Doesn't take 10 hours to boot (Takes 5 seconds) and runs most games perfectly. I feel its much more fluid than its last generation and has not yet failed me. Like anything, once you learn it you love it.
