I'm switching from console to PC and I need some recommendations for PC's. I've been looking at the Alienware X51 but I have been researching that Alienware is pretty overpriced. A lot of people recommend to build one yourself but I really don't know anything about computer specs. When I see computer specs, it's like reading a different language for me. I really want a PC that can stay in the range of 900$ and will be able to run games like Dayz at at least 30 FPS ( in city's ) and hopefully higher out of city's, I also want a PC with a decent graphics card. Can someone help me find a PC or recommend one? And maybe give me some tips on finding one and how to understand specs?

I just built this Pc and I play games like Rust and Battlefield 4 and I get over 60 fps on maximum settings.

you have to build it yourself but it is actually very easy its like putting together legos you just need to be easy with the parts. just watch youtube videos on how to build a pc. I built mine in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I put links for good instructional videos below.
I spent about $700 total (including windows 7) which if you buy the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] you pay $200 more and get a graphics card that is not as good as the one listed in the build I provided. other than that the specs are basically equivalent to each other.

Try to look into building one yourself. If you are wanting to play games like DayZ, I recommend you go with an Intel processor. Try to get and i5 or i7. The graphics cards I always get my friends, when building them a computer, is the gtx 650 ti boost. It is a great card.

I would just make sure you get a power supply that will allow you to upgrade in the future, as well as 8 GB of RAM or more if you can afford it. 1600 mhz is good. Look for motherboards that have multiple slots for graphics cards so you can later get another 650 ti boost and just run them SLI. That makes everything a lot easier.

I would build your own.. Building a PC is like playing with legos, most of the part will only go in one way. Everything almost fits together, your GPU, CPU, RAM, Motherboard, PSU, SATA connections, HHD's SSD's, everything fits together for the most part. Like playing with legos.
