Okay so at first I couldn't copy games to the xex menu so I assumed I needed a new laser on my hitachi DVD drive so instead of get a new laser I swapped out the DVD drive to a benq and got the DVD key from my old drive, would I be able to copy games to xex menu now?

Did you try using FSD to copy your games?
