To test the game's code and performance, not to let players make progress... Its a beta.

Totally agree with that but To the people who did help out we should get to keep our stuff as a sign of our assistance.

No they shouldnt, the Beta is a privilege the Dev's dont even have to release a beta they can test it them selves but testing with a open beta is easier than a Dev-Only one. Your "Sign of assistance" is getting to play the beta.

I feel like you haven't played the beta yourself, or as deeply emerged into the game as some people. The Beta was open to EVERYONE. This allowed EVERYONE to play the game. Why should we be punished for the people who didn't download the game? If people were really interested, they'd of downloaded the beta. Its not "fair" to have our stats reset.

So you think that everyone on the Battlefield 3 & 4 beta deserved their stats to be saved? Just because they worked hard on it? No you're lucky you even get beta no matter how frustrated you may be you dont deserve to have your stats saved. Just because you worked hard doesnt mean you deserve something especially when what you worked hard on was a beta because the beta is for testing not letting players work hard and get ahead in the game..

You have some messed up views on life then.

You can't really compare Destiny to battlefield, there are plenty of betas that carried over. Who knows what will happen, but some items will definitely carry over, so everything else may carry over also.

I dont want this to turn into a flaming war so im just gonna stop replying.

I hope it's not true. I believe at one point they made it an open beta so anyone could play it, so that gave people a fair chance. I put a lot of time into the Destiny beta so I would be pretty upset if our characters got reset.

I think we all can agree that THIS beta was different than any other before.
It's not BF4 or any other standard FPS. This is an FPS MMO. Done arguing.

i don't see why they would reset the characters when this beta was open for the entire world. Most betas were from a code from pre-ordering the game but this one was open. Everyone had the fair chance to take advantage of the open beta. Its not our fault that people didnt download it. I dont see the reason for re-setting everything.

So what we have to keep playing and ranking up?

Out of all my hours I put into destiny, if my characters do get reset I will not be to happy. It's not like bungie will care anyway.
