I don't know about any of you, but it seems to me like CoD is near it's demise. Nearly any other game released after Black Ops 1 is futuristic crap. I'm having trouble understanding why they keep making their games about the future, when all they're getting in return is a few pre orders and few buyers that will play the game until the next CoD. I mean look at this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , the drop is huge! I this not viable evidence that there must be a change and this futuristic crap should be abolished? In my own opinion, they need to go back in time, back to WaW or CoD4 or even MW2 and use that kind of era, rather than **** up the series completely (which they arguably already have) I know people have been saying that for a while now but it's looking like their only hope of getting their players back to the series.
*deep breath* just needed to get that off my chest.

Ghosts, definitely, and a futuristic cod is the worst idea.

You claim that COD has died out, yet they're breaking sales records every release...
I don't like where the series is headed either, but the series isn't dying.
You can only use a certain time stamp so much, until it gets stale.
They need a futuristic setting to cater to their creativity. It allows a wider audience appeal, and the possibilities are endless.

COD is near it's demise, yet it continues to sell more copies than almost every other game. I wonder how that works.

I was talking about how their sales are going down every year. (I read that a bit wrong)If they keep this style up, you could see a substantial decrease in sales.

Probably because of the huge worldwide fanbase it has?
