My friends RGH won't boot up. They are using the Free files. (XboxLiveLogon). The KV is not banned. Got any ideas on why it won't boot?

Did you try to flash the KV or put it in the xboxlivelogon folder?

Did your friend have any plugins installed in dashlaunch? try booting up the console without plugins by turning it on and pressing the eject button and then delete all of your plugins on dashlaunch. turn off your console and turn it back on to see if that worked

I said to do that but the still won't boot up.

Alright before i send you my skype i need to make sure i know what the console is doing.

Will the console boot up and then turn off?
Or wil the console just straight up not boot up?

try removing the HDD and turning it on. if it still doesnt boot then the files may have done something bad to the console.
