I am finally ready to buy my own desktop! But I need some help... My budget is $1100 and must a have a monitor for gaming, I would like the monitor to have a 1 or 2ms response time and two hdmi plug ins. I would like a Intel Core i7 and a graphics card that can handle big games on a good setting. If you could help me out I would truly appreciate it.

No need for an i7, an i5 will be sufficient for gaming. An i5 is actually going to perform better than an i7 in games that don't utilize hyperthreading. The response time on the monitor doesn't make a huge difference. I have a 5ms response time monitor and my cousin has a 1ms, I've used both and I don't notice any differences. Although, in the build I recommend, I have included a 1ms response time Asus 21.5" monitor with 2x HDMI inputs.

For $1100, that's where my money would be. You have an overclockable CPU if needed. If you do decide to OC, an aftermarket CPU cooler would be a wise choice. A Z97 chipset motherboard which will support the 5th generation Intel Core CPU's once they are released. Good RAM. An SSD for faster boot/load times and a 1TB HDD to install your games on to. A fantastic case and GPU, as well as a 600W PSU which leaves a little room for upgrades.

With that build, you can easily upgrade to 16GB RAM and a 5th gen i7 if you decide to render/edit.
