^I second this. Chromebooks are very good for their price point, not sure how well they would be for Minecraft since they have Celeron processors at 1.4ghz though. I am buying one for college, but that is only because I use Google for everything and just need something to take notes on.

Chromebooks run chromeos, chromeos does not support any applications besides from ones in the chrome store (or whatever it's called) hence it is near impossible to play minecraft on a chromebook.


You would be able to play Minecraft on a chromebook, just need to root it. Pretty easy process to do, however I do understand what you mean because it would be incompatible from the factory. I just enjoy having fun with my technology.
