It's probably the charger it's self. Were the wires come into the 30 pin connector or the lighting cable get bend a lot when people charge there phones I have the same problem. Anyways the wires get week break and loose connection. If the charger new then look were you plug it in on the phone and make sure there is not something in there blocking the connection. Also if it's a 3rd party charger aka not made by Apple the new iPhones and iDevices aka just the ones with the lighting cable charger don't work. Apple has almost made it to were 3rd party cables do not work with the new devices hopes this helps

Most likely the charger. Replace it. If not, it might be the phone battery.

Dylan_123 wrote my iphone 5 will not turn on it keeps on showing its low and charging. any suggestions? It's more than likely the battery going bad. A new one should fix it right up but obviously try a new cable and charger first just to make sure.
Try taking it by the Apple store and see if they do battery replacements. If not, take it to a local repair store or order the part and do it yourself, it's a pretty straight forward repair. Good luck.
