So I posted my elgato on eBay and the auction ended. Two days later
the guy didn't pay and I opened a case. Then I relisted the item and yesterday the
auction ended. The buyer still hasn't paid. That's two people in a row that decide
to win on my auctions and not pay. What's the deal with that?

This is why a majority of auctions specifically say "payment must be sent within 24 hours of auction completion."

Happens to a lot of sellers on eBay, you just got to have the right person to win I guess.

True that. Make sure to specify that you need the money within the 24 hour period as Mr. imgur has said.

I would recommend you trying messaging them first and then opening a case if they still don't pay or don't respond. Also, you should put in the item description saying an amount of time in which the payment is due.

I had this happen 3 times on the same item before it finally sold, now here's the kicker....They charged me fees for all of the times it didn't get payed for. Never going to sell on there again.

If you opened cases on all of those people and closed the case saying they didn't pay I'm most likely sure you will get a final value fee credit which they take off of your invoice by the end of the month.

It can be annoying but if they don't pay asap after winning then it's safe to say they probably weren't going to buy it =/
