I have a sticky disk problem on my RGH and dont want to pry it open to install games.
Can I install games over FTP like FileZilla or Neighborbood?
Is this a known successful way of installing games?
Thanks
-Beck

Unless you have VERY, and I mean VERY good connection, FTP will not work. It will be VERY slow and miss files (At least with filezilla)
Neighborhood runs too slow and will crash if you try to transfer a file over 500MB really.
Use a external hard drive and manually transfer.

I don't recommend it due to that, and it can cause a non-beefy computer to crash.

Would it be possible to use a seperate xbox HDD as a External harddrive and move that to my Xbox via transfer cable?

xBeck wrote I have a sticky disk problem on my RGH and dont want to pry it open to install games. You can, but yu still have to use a program to extract the ISO. It's not the same, but I do this for arcade games, and XEX MENU.

You can use wx360 to extract the iso and put that folder on an external hdd, move it over to your rgh/jtag hdd.

Fast internet has nothing to do with how fast it will transfer. It is 100% possible to transfer games via ftp from your pc/laptop to your rgh/jrag.
Go look up xxmoddedxwarefarexx on youtube.
he has some amazing tuts that will really help you out.

FTP like FileZilla is one the best ways of transfering games ,a wired connection would better.
Xbox 360 Neighborhood is ok for single files.

That's only if you run it wireless, If you had an Ethernet cable connecting your console and your pc and use Neighbourhood, packet loss is virtually non existent. Wireless on the other hand like you said you need tremendous connection to perform it.
