Obviously the most apperent reason is that online ranks have ABSOLUTELY NO CORRELATION with system link. People honestly need to give it a rest with this system link nonsense. EVERYTHING is done server side so its NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, you MUST be online for ANY ranks to be recorded. If I need to explain this notion any further you should just quit existance itself at that point.
