i5 4690K is more than enough for gaming, an i7 4770K is a waste of money unless you are benefiting from the hyper threading, even then, the i7 4790K is a better choice.
212 Evo does support LGA 1150
The PSU is also fine, why does he need a 750W PSU?
But yes, he needs to change the motherboard. I would recommend a MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Will this motherboard will work? And other than the motherboard the rest of the build is good? And the only reason I have the EVO cooler is because it had good reviews and is cheap.

The 212 is a great cooler, I have one myself and it keeps my 4.4GHz FX-6300 under 45C. I just wouldn't recommend one with an Intel CPU because Intel gets a lot hotter, especially under overclocking. How much are you willing to spend on the cooler?
As for the mobo, the Z97 Gaming 5 will work and allow you to overclock very well.

Alright, I dont want to break the bank on a cooler but if you know a couple I could choose from that would be great!
