I wish to purchase a sports car off craigslist for about 12k and i prefer it to be a 2000 - present.
I like 350z's

Hard to find a 350z for 2k, unless it's old/has frame damage.
I cheaper one would be mazda evo, an older one of course, or maybe a mitsubishi rx7? theyre cheap but not reliable

Never ever buy a ex,lx or any non performance versions of the civic. They blow and are over used.
Also by you only wanting 2000 and above your losing great options for cars. Such as the 240sx for instance.
I would say 85 and up you can find good cars.
89 (Fox Body) Ford Mustang lx 5.0 is a good car!

Can't go wrong with a BMW, if you can get one from a dealer they usually come with a warranty and free service, but it could only be for newer models such as 2010-present
