This is one of the best movies I've seen in quite a while. If you've seen GoodFellas it's kinda like that, where it shows the rise and fall of the main character.

Its a true story about a stockbroker named Jordan Belfort. He first starts working for a big firm in New Yorks wall street (Known for its stocks). As the stock crashes and the firm goes bust he joins a $1 firm. Where he is payed 50% commission for each stock he sells. Gradually he makes thousands becasue he is so good as his experience on wall street has shown him. He meets a guy who asks him how much me makes. He shows him his wage slip and them two start there own firm (Stratton Oakmart)and recruit more.He proves that anyone can become a millionaire and a stockbroker with no training. He starts to fraud the system by buying useless stocks and sells them for a higher price making him alot of money. With this money comes drugs and what not. Ultimately becoming his downfall. Good film. I have left out alot of detail so you can see for yourself.

First things first, never watch that movie with your parents like I did when I went back home for the summer.

I didn't really know what it was about when I picked it up, and was soon in for a surprise.

The life that the guy had was certainly half decent. Minus the drugs and his life would be great.
Good film in my opinion
