Synopsis:
While street thugs only have handguns, machine guns, crowbars and their fists to protect them, the super-villains and their minions have their various unique powers and weapons that they use to either steal, cause terror or defeat Spider-Man. At the end of the game, it becomes possible to unlock a warehouse in which the player can again fight thugs and villains such as Shocker, Rhino, Doctor Octopus, and an additional boss, Calypso, who is not found elsewhere in the game.
The player has the ability to choose either to go on with the storyline or swing around the city. The player can explore Manhattan, Roosevelt Island, Ellis Island, Liberty Island, and a mysterious label on the map over the water claiming "Governors Island" with many sidequests for the player to complete. The player can do random tasks to earn "hero points," which must be accumulated to continue with the plot and are spent on upgrading Spidey's skills.

Story:8.9/10
The game follows the story 2 years after the 1st. Spiderman is constantly late for work and school, trying to deal with being a superhero and a regular citizen. Spiderman deals with a band art thief performing an armed robbery of an art museum and tracks down the Black Cat. A little while after that he thwarts an attack on Manhattan by The Rhino, all while this is happening Doctor Octopus is attempting to create Nuclear Fusion.
In an attempt to create the fusion, he has 4 metal arms he can control with his mind binded to his body but in the process destroys his lab and blames Spiderman for the incident. Doctor Octopus kidnaps Aunt May but is saved by Spiderman. Special Effects Artist Quentin Beck tries to make Spiderman look like a fraud but is proven wrong and in embarrassment becomes Mysterio who ruins press conferences and causes an attack on the Statue of Liberty. Spiderman fights him and finds out his true identity and takes pictures and releases it to the public.
Doctor Octopus kidnaps Mary Jane and steals from Harry Osborne to continue to power his nuclear fusion in return for Spiderman. Harry then rats out where Doctor Octopus is and that leads Spiderman to a duel with him, resulting in Doctor Octopus sacrificing himself to destroy the nuclear fusion permanently.
Spiderman is back to fighting crime for New York City.
One thing i did not like about the story is that at the end when spiderman defeats doc ock, him and Mary Jane are hugging and they turn and look at each other and are about to kiss and the game goes to credits. Can't have a spiderman game without the kiss y'know.

Gameplay: 7/10
This game is only a single player game, but is normal 2004 gameplay. There are a few glitches with the fighting but other then that I can't really say much about it. Some of the things they characters say are witty and funny though.
Graphics: 6.2/10
Again, this is a 2004 game and wasn't that well developed, the graphics aren't the best but there aren't that many glitches with much that i could notice. When i was fighting Doc Ock on the train though, for a few tries i was unable to stand on top of the train it kept dropping me through. Again other then that it's typical 2004 Xbox/PC/PS2 graphics, not the best lol.
Controls: 7/10
I played the PC version on my laptop and I wouldn't recommend doing so, because there are a bunch of controls and also combos and whatnot. I'm sure if i played the ps2 version it would have been a lot better but the PC version was not to my liking control-wise. After a while I got used to it but was still tough to use.
My Rating: 6.7/10

I remember playing this game on my PC when I was little. I actually think that I have this game laying around here somewhere even now!
Nice job on your reviews man. Keep up the good work.
