Sometimes when I go onto the Xbox360 General Forum, the posts that ask if my gamer tag is OG are really annoying me.

People with gamertags like "Press RT and LT" or "Vtjc" keep on asking if their GT is OG..

An OG is an Original Gamertag for example: Table, Brain, Bee, Cup.

Gamertags like: Vntv, Swagger Daddy, I Am OG AF, etc. Are not OG and not even close..

So please stop posting those useless Threads..

I have to agree with this, they are annoying and it's common sense as to what an OG gamertag is

I think someone needs to clarify that these gamer tags are not oG. simply are just short and random.

If kids need to ask " is my gamertag OG? " then they clearly don't know what OG is and they shouldn't be trying to get one. Although, I don't mind either, but when it's blatand kids with gamertags like " OMG MY NAME IS OG " then they ask if it's OG, yeah, it's really dumb and I just wanna rant in the forum for hours.

I don't see why others care if their gamertag is OG or not like really it's a screen name on the internet.

I personally think that the OG gamertag and username craze is stupid. I really do not understand why someone would pay good money for a short word that means something? It is just a name.

It's an acronym; it stands for Internet Group Management Protocol, or I Get Much Pusssy.

Although an acronym it's not OG as an OG is a word with no stems, prefix or suffixes like Mind, Game, Top etc.
