This is my build that I use for mainly gaming, programming and a bit of rendering/editting.

I actually have an i5 4690K OC 4.5Ghz rather than the one I listed but it is the closest comparison I could find on part picker.
What do you guys think/what could I do better?

Not an improvement per se; but when did you buy your i5? Down to the week, if possible
Secondly, what temps are you getting? Both idle and load. Not benchmarking, mind you - just good old gaming and the like

I bought it like a month ago from here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Why do you ask and I think I get like 40-45 when playing BF4 and other times I can get as low as like 25, centigrade of course.

Older batches seem to get higher temps. Chances are that's just coincidence or user error, but oh well

Okay I will try keep an eye on the temp then, if it goes a bit high I have tonnes of space in my case for more fans.

Seems like a nice way to waste money. 16GB RAM is pointless. 8GB does the job for gaming. Only reason for 16GB RAM is if you're doing a lot of editing/rendering which if you were, an i7 would be a better choice than an i5. Considering you can get a 5TB HDD for £168 or a 4TB HDD for £104, that 1.5TB was a huge waste of money. No need to spend that much on a case. Windows could have easily been obtained for free instead of wasting money paying for it. Razer products suck and are a waste of money. Could have bought a much better keyboard with £100. 2 different size and brand monitors would look ugly. If you're using multiple monitors, it would look much nicer to have the same models. I use 3x Samsung 22" monitors which cost £90 each.
