Pretty average, I know this is around my speed. If you would want to stream on twitch you could easily do it in 720p

lolwot.
You'll need more than 5 up to stream in HD.

OP: It's an okay connection for casual browsing I guess.
Nothing special!

A common misconception is download speed for gaming. Anything over 2MB a second is okay, its the ping that matters.

Your connections ping is decent but not that best although I don't see why you will have issues.

I stream to twitch in HD with 5mb a second. The minimum upload you need is 2.something mb/s. I don't think 5 is good enough to get 1080 but 720 is considered HD.

The people saying this is a pretty average connection, you obviously have never seen peoples connection that live in the countryside or in rural villages... We get 2.8MB down and 0.59 up where I live and I can game on it but obviously cannot stream worth a turd on it.

I'd say this connection is more high end that most in rural areas and par with some people in the cities.
