hah its cool same thing happend to me about 10 mins ago you dont have to recover if you didnt delete your profile when you draged it to the desktop just drag it back onto your hard drive and plug your hard drive back in and itll be there.

If CoHost's idea didnt work then how about you delete the FULL Directory from your HDD (i.e. E00*******) then recover it from Xbox Live!
