Hey Guys,
Thanks for taking time to read this post, I truly appreciate it!
(This post is more of a comment-based survey in regards to a new concept Im trying to develop. So I need your opinions.)
I want to start a high quality FPS live-stream service that engages the audience and gives competitive information about the game at least three times a week. Several things will set my stream apart from others.
1. I play at the competitive level on many FPS games including CALL OF DUTY, BATTLEFIELD, HALO, COUNTER STRIKE, etc.
2. I will talk to everyone watching my streams directly and I will read and respond to the comment section in real time.
3. I live in an area where im surrounded by friends who are indie game developers and mobile developers, therefore I can give discounts every 30 minutes to products, games, and apps.
4.I will be playing games on Xbox One and PC/MAC to start.
5.I will be taking weekly content requests.
The problem is Ive just started college recently (Im going to school to become a game Artist) and Ive used every penny I had to get here. So the only way I can fund this is through KickStarter. To start I need a high quality capture card but after that I can get a good microphone, a better router, and better cable service. Im only asking for $200-$300. And I plan to fund myself as much as I can afford. In return Im offering free moderator status to those who donate any amount. A personal message and live thank you response via Twitch/Youtube to anyone who donates more than $25. If Im extremely lucky and someone donates $50 dollars or more I will have them collaborate with me via Skype or phone call in regards to the first two months of content.
Do you like the concept?
Do you think it will be funded?
Let me know what you think in the comments below and again thank you so much for reading guys!
