I saw the video on this. I don't understand why he would stand that close to the gun.

Unlockable wrote I saw the video on this. I don't understand why he would stand that close to the gun.
He's a safety instructor, they're supposed to be close to the gun and shooter to help them and to try to control the situation if it needs it (gun jams, loses grip on the gun, ect.) I know he wasn't able to stop it, but if you look how fast she lost control of it, you'll understand why he wasn't able to control the situation, granted, as I have said in previous posts, didn't look like he was really gripping the bottom of the gun to try and help her, but still, no one expected that to happen and at the speed the recoil went at, he wasn't able to stop it in time.
Obviously I couldn't post the full video (can't even find the full video) however, near the end, you'll see how fast she loses control and at the angle it goes.

Well i think it was stupid training a 9 year old girl how to use a Uzi i think she is a little bit to young to handle the kick of the gun, I feel bad for the little girl as she will blame herself for this but she should of learned how to use another gun like a 9mm before something like a Uzi.

If this video is real, then the instructor was at fault. Is sad that a mistake that small can make you lose your life.

Yeah i did see this on the TV but what i dont get is yeah fare enough let her have ago on the single shot but why in gods name put it to fully auto you would find very fast that a 9 year old would be able to keep control on something with such a fast fire rate so in my opinion it was a death wise waiting and that fact he is a instructor i would of really expected him to have a stand to make it more easy for the girl to keep control of the UZI

So stupid. Basically the parents fault in my opinion even if you guys disagree.
So apparently this gun range offers shooting form 8-80 with their weapons. A 8 year old who's hands have barely reached maturity who is not strong enough to control a weapon of such high power. It would have been fine if the child was shooting any type of pistol because its a single shot but a UZI, which shoots what 32bullets in a few seconds. I feel terrible for the family even though they do not blame the little girl. It was not her fault at all it was the people who put a gun in a 8yr childs hand. But everything happens for a reason.
R.I.P Man
And I hope the girl doesn't have a tough life seeing that.

Americans. Even after people shooting each other, crazy kids killing people in schools and plenty other cases including this 9 year old killing her instructor. They will still see no wrong with guns being legal to citizens.
