Ok,
So yesterday I was cleaning my room and I moved my elgato around to another spot. Now i'm having a very weird problem. Here it is.

Basically I have everything set up properly and I open up my elgato software and it is telling me I have no devices connected, but my xbox picks up the signal so I can see the picture on my monitor. I'm really confused because it was working fine yesterday. I will +REP 25 for anyone who can help me. I need help ASAP as I run a YouTube channel.

This can be caused by a number of things including the USB cable, the program itself, etc.

Here is a link to the elgato support page and they have a list of things you can do to troubleshoot.

I've tried all of those and still nothing, I'm starting to panic. I don't have $100 to spend on another one.

1. Uninstall all Elgato drivers from your computer, once done re-install all and see if the problem has fixed.

2. Simply just change USB ports on the computer because the port on the computer could be bad.

3. Try testing the Elgato on another computer, laptop etc.. If it still has not worked like before then I would consider just buying another one :/

hey man this happend to me, and basically if you tried all those things and it didnt work than it is youre cable cord itself. you dont need to buy a whole new elgato, just buy the cable
