Having used both, i prefer windows 7 as its what i grew up using ( the desktop style)

And id say G2A?

windows 7 is the best for gaming since its not limited like windows 8/8.1 is

there are a lot of bugs with windows 8 and games so best bet is windows 7

OP-Win8.1 would probably suit you. It is not limited to games as someone posted above. Personally, I choose Win7 everytime, only because I prefer the feel of it and desktop. Granted, Win8.1 can be booted into a Win7 style desktop bu personally, Win7 is just better. If you're used to Win7 and like it, it'd be easier to just get Win7.

i have win 7 but if i was going to buy i would buy win 8 as its new and is alot faster

I prefer win 7,it just works better for what I use it for.
8.1 is good though,its the constant need for Apps that doesn't work for me.

I just got windows 8 and i love it. i did have to put a extension on it to make it have the windows thing down on the bottom left but other then that its faster and i love it!

If I were you I would get Windows 8. I don't really see why everyone complains about it being so bad. They made a lot of changes for the better with the release of 8.1.

The Windows 9 reveal is coming up later this month so you could always wait for that two. It won't be released for another few months though.
