Hey there,

I'm looking to invest into a jtag/rgh i've been told Falcons are better but i want to know all the details and what i'd need to do to start hosting lobbies and such...

Also which Jtag is better for sustaining and being reliable?

Don't buy a console JUST to host on COD. It's not worth it.

Both are the same thing. JTAG = RGH. Only difference is boot times and reliability.

JTAG: Instant boot times. Less reliable since it is only done on old phat Xboxes.
RGH: Varying boot times between instant and 60 seconds. More reliable due to it being done on newer Xboxes.

My preference in Motherboards:

Xenon (NEVER) - Super RROD
Zephyr (NOPE) - Super RROD
Falcon (Possibly) - Fastest Boot Times
Jasper(Good) - Best Reliability For Price
Trinity(Really Good) - 0.01% RROD
Corona(Really Good) - Newest Motherboard

MXUE has perfectly explained your choices.

Through my experience of JTAGing consoles i would say that the Jasper motherboard is the best for price. I have been running 2-Japser jtag for 4-years and not once had an issue with them...

Unlike my retired xenon & opus jtags which RRoD after 2hours of use regardless how many times i repair.

Lots of things. Some of the things that stood out to me was being able to play original xbox games, install homebrew(software), and install emulators. There are probably a whole bunch more that I don't know about though.

Emulators, Free Games, Backup Games, Customize the Console, and a couple more things I'm forgetting. Just don't buy it to host. It gets too expensive, and it gets boring really fast.

One more question,

How do the Kv's work?
How would i go about hosting recovery lobbies for friends?

Don't buy a console JUST to mod. It's too expensive and it gets boring really fast.

Basically, a KV contains all of your console's information that makes it YOUR console. By flashing a new KV after your console gets banned, Microsoft thinks it is a different console, therefore unbanning it.

When you want to host, you need to buy an unbanned KV which go for $20, as well as a server which is another $20 a DAY. Then you go online and do whatever you please.
