I had a problem with this and I recommend giving it a try. If you have a laptop or a desktop close to your xbox you can turn internet sharing or something like that on and connect an enthernet cable from your computer to the xbox. I was told this doesent work but it does because it worked for me. I also got an ip when using wifi but still didn't work untill I used the method. Search how to connect to xbox live with laptop on YouTube or something and that will tell you how to turn on network sharing on your laptop and then you should be able to connect to neighbourhood. Make sure you turn the laptop on before the xbox

It sounds stupid but it isn't, I could connect fine to other services that required internet using wifi on my rgh but I had the same problem as you and my method worked. Just try it

I know what your saying, but I believe it is because the plugins aren't working and not just the connection.

Thanks for all the advice guys. The problem was that I was using an xebuildthat had the 16767 dash but did not have the dashlaunch fix.
