From what I've heard Microsoft is attempting to buy Minecraft for $2 billion. What does everyone think about this. I would assume if Microsoft bought it they would do something about it being on the playstation. Maybe even remove it from the PSN store.

i don't think that would ever happen, plus sony has some rights for it to so they cant remove it from their store.

Mircosoft already bought Gears Of War but I dont know if they would try to buy Minecraft.

If Notch is smart he wouldn't sell it. If he is trying to sell, see if he can get other big offers.

I would laugh if they did remove it from PS store. But if they did.... what would they do to all the people who already bought it on PS?

    Refund them
    Give them a update that's going to delete the game
    Or just give them a big F*** YOU!!!!

I don't know who has the rights to sell Mojang but I know that Notch doesn't like big corporations such as Microsoft. He said it himself, not sure if it was on Twitter or not. Anyways in my opinion I hope that Mojang stays solo and they do there own thing because they have done a great job so far by themselves. But I'm afraid that if Microsoft buys Mojang they will either ruin the Minecraft community or something good will happen, who knows.

Yeah they wouldn't remove it from the PS store, Xbox would just have exclusive updates, add on's, etc.

M$ would introduce micro-transactions and fk up the game, notch wouldn't want that for his community.

i will never play xbox and mc again microsoft sucks as it is now
