Hey guys having pretty big problems with my gpu so today i was downloading some things at my brothers house and when i brought my pc home i plugged everything in turned it on and it done some scan (just thought that was normal so didn't worry about it) anyways when my computer finally loaded i noticed i wasnt getting my normal notifications but i didn't worry to much so i went onto steam and tried starting ARMA 3 but it wouldn't start so for like 4 hours i was trying to work out what was wrong and eventually right clicked on the desktop and went screen resolutions and seen that my graphics card wasn't showing it was some sort of other card i had never used before so i went and downloaded driver easy pro which kind of fixed my problem i can atleast access arma 3 now but it is lagging beyond the point of even being able to play so i need to somehow get my Asus GTX 660 OC to be my default graphics card again so i can actually play a game that isant mine sweeper i have also downloaded the right asus driver and loaded it but it comes up with "this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware" i have been trying to fix this for 8 nearly 9 hours now but can't seem to find anything that works i didn't install the graphics card i got a guy that runs a computing business to do it for me so if anyone could help it'd be much appreciated i'll give the guy a call tomorrow and see what he says but otherwise i'll just have to wait for someone to reply.

ALSO SORRY FOR ALL THE JIBBER JAB BUT I TRYED TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED THE BEST I COULD THANKS IN ADVANCE

Is your monitor plugged into the card or the motherboard? You can't use one card or IGP "through" another. For example, I can't use the Intel 4000 graphics on my i5 to output to a monitor that's plugged into my discrete card.
